Software needs updating, backups need taking, and security needs watching. Miss any of it and a site can slow down, break, or get hacked. A care plan takes all of that off your plate for a small, predictable monthly fee.

We host, back up, secure, monitor, and update your site. You also get a monthly allowance of edits. It keeps working as hard as the day it launched.

What your care plan covers.

Managed hosting

Fast, secure hosting handled for you. No separate bill to juggle.

Automated backups

Regular off-site backups so your site can always be restored.

Security monitoring

Ongoing scanning and hardening to keep threats and malware out.

Updates & patches

We keep the software and plugins current, quietly, in the background.

Uptime monitoring

We watch your site around the clock and jump on any downtime.

Monthly edits

An allowance of content edits each month. Just send them through.

Why a website needs looking after at all.

A website isn't a printed brochure. It sits on a server exposed to the internet. It runs on software that ships security patches monthly. Browsers render it, and they change several times a year. Left alone for eighteen months, a site doesn't stay the same. It slowly stops working.

The failure modes are boring and expensive. A contact form silently stops delivering after a hosting change. Nobody notices for six weeks, because there's no bounce, no error, just no enquiries. An SSL certificate lapses and puts a browser warning between you and every visitor. An out-of-date plugin becomes the way someone injects spam pages into your site. Google then indexes them under your domain.

That last one is the genuinely costly scenario. Recovering rankings after a month of serving pharmaceutical spam takes far longer than the outage did. The cleanup bill is a multiple of the plan that would have prevented it.

What's actually covered.

Managed hosting. Fast Australian-edge hosting, HTTPS, and a certificate that renews itself.

Off-site backups, tested. Daily, retained, and stored away from the server they came from. A backup on the same machine as the site is not a backup. Tested by actually restoring one, because an untested backup is a guess.

Updates. Platform, plugin and dependency updates applied on a schedule. Where the risk warrants it, we work on a staging copy first. An update that breaks a layout doesn't break it in public.

Uptime and form monitoring. Checks every few minutes. More usefully, we check that the enquiry form still delivers. That is the failure that costs money while looking like nothing is wrong.

Security. Firewall, malware scanning, hardened logins, and a defined response if something does get through.

Content edits. An allowance of small changes each month, handled without a quote each time. New staff photo, updated prices, a service added, Christmas hours.

A short monthly report. What was updated, what was backed up, anything that needs your attention. Legible in a minute.

What it costs, and who it isn't for.

Plans start at $49 a month. The difference between tiers is edit allowance and response time, not whether your site gets backed up. Every plan includes the security and backup work. A cheaper plan that omits it isn't a care plan.

There's no lock-in. If you leave, the site and its backups are yours. We'll hand over hosting rather than hold it hostage. That's a low bar, and it's worth stating because the industry regularly fails it.

Who it isn't for: you may have in-house technical staff who already patch and back up the site. In that case you don't need us to do it again. And some sites run on a fully-hosted closed platform that handles updates itself. Most of this is already included in what you pay there. We'll say so rather than sell you a duplicate.

FAQ

Common questions.

Do I really need a care plan?

If your website matters to your business, yes. Sites that go unmaintained slow down, break, or get hacked over time. A care plan prevents that for a small, predictable monthly cost. That is far cheaper than fixing a broken or compromised site.

What's included each month?

Managed hosting, regular backups, security monitoring, software and plugin updates, uptime monitoring, and an allowance of content edits. Higher tiers add more edit time and priority support.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Care plans are month-to-month with no lock-in. Your website is always yours to take elsewhere.

What happens if my website goes down?

Our uptime monitoring alerts us automatically, and we get on it. On a care plan, fixes to the core site are covered. You're not left waiting or paying by the hour in a crisis.
